Okapi is a mammal of the Ituri rainforest in central africa. Binomial name: Okapia Johnstoni. It was brought to notice to the world by Sir Harry Johnston who organized the first expedition to Congo in 1901 to collect the specimen. It was brought to my notice by a friend a couple of months ago :o)
Zorse is a creation of man - A cross between Zebra stallion and a Horse mare. Brought to the world by a geneticist, whose name I forget.

The Okapi species is apparently genetically closer to the giraffe & Zorse to a horse. To me they look like some kinda half-painted walls !! :-)

i thought the stripes on a zorse were a lot more gradual than that… are you sure that pic isn’t photoshopped?

this Zorse is photo shopped the strips on a real one are fadded and the other animal is an Okapi with is related distanly to a giraffe
